ABOUT PHASE
Building biology-based productivity.
Your wearable already knows what kind of day your body is set up for. Phase turns that into what you actually do about it.
MISSION
To help millions turn their wearables into a better work day.
182 million people across the US, UK and EU now wear something that tracks their sleep, recovery, HRV, stress and cycle. Every morning, millions of us wake up to a number that tells us exactly what kind of day our body is set up for. And then we ignore it, because very few of us know how to apply that data to our daily lives.
At the same time, work is changing. As AI removes the menial work, knowledge work becomes increasingly cognitive. Success means good decision making, oversight, creativity and collaboration — skills that depend on energy, clarity and focus, exactly the skills impacted by our biology. Knowing what to do when, has never been more relevant.
That's the gap Phase exists to close. Your wearable tells you what's happening inside your body. Your calendar and task list tell you what needs doing. Phase is the layer in between, translating your bio data into a clear decision about what to work on, and when — so you perform better on the days your body is ready and protect yourself on the days it isn't.
We're not here to add another dashboard. We're building the interpretation layer for the future of work: the system that finally makes all that biological data useful where it matters most, in the work you do every day.

ABOUT US
We're building a new category: biology-based productivity.
For decades, productivity has sold one idea — that the goal is to show up the same every day and push through. It's a tidy story, but it was built for a different era of work, and is biologically impossible.
You don't bring the same brain to work on four hours of sleep that you bring on eight, and pretending otherwise has a cost. Sleep issues account for 11.3 lost workdays a year. Cycle symptoms, another 8.9. Burnout and fatigue cost UK employers £51 billion annually. The way we talk about productivity is no longer translating to the way that we work.
Wearables went mainstream
What was a status symbol for optimisers five years ago is now on 182 million wrists, growing 14% a year. People have more data about their own bodies than ever — and around 40% say they don't know what to do with it.
Work became cognitive
As AI takes over the routine execution, human value shifts to focus, judgment, creativity and decision quality — the exact capacities most affected by sleep, stress, hormones and circadian rhythm. The work that's left is the work your biology has the biggest say in.
Flexible work stabilised
Hybrid is now 42% of UK knowledge workers and 23% in the US. Enough people have real control over their calendars for working with their biology to actually be possible.
We started Phase because we wanted to get better at managing the off days and optimising the best days.
Founded by Maggie McDaris, Georgie Powell and Sam Cooke, and built with a clinical advisory team spanning neuroendocrinology, women's health, psychology, reproductive health and sleep science — because if we're going to translate your biology into your workday, we'd better get the biology right.
Do the right work, at the right time. For you.
